How You Can Help Make a Difference

Many of our entrepreneurs are new to business.  Practical support and helpful information is essential to their success.

If you have business experience and skills to offer, we invite you to join our team.

Teacher and Facilitator

  • Work with the Mercy Corps Northwest staff to teach a Foundations Business Course session, or develop and present a free, topical business seminar.
  • Required experience:  Small business experience, or technical skills in any area or industry

Mentor 

  • Use MicroMentor, an online small business mentoring service linking entrepreneurs with experienced business owners and professionals.
  • Required experience:  Successful business ownership or management background

General Volunteer 

  • Give MCNW staff a valuable helping hand with specific projects, organizational needs and tasks in our new office in the heart of Old Town Portland.
  • Required experience: Open
