“Best Coffee I’ve Ever Had” – Tov Coffee
Joseph Nazir fell in love with coffee in 2005 while working at a mom and pop cafe. There he learned the importance of a good shot of espresso, how to pour latte art, and the attention to detail that can make coffee truly exceptional. Ten years later, Joseph has opened Tov Coffee, an homage to his Egyptian roots housed within a double decker bus.

Joseph wanted to recreate the feel of an Egyptian coffee bar, where life is shared and people forget about daily stress. “Above all, I want to serve delicious coffee in a beautiful ambiance with off the charts customer service.”
One of his specialities is Turkish coffee. According to Nazir, “Turkish coffee is made by boiling very finely ground coffee with spices. It has a delicious crema, a strong coffee taste, and is usually served in small quantities.” The MCNW Loan Committee recently went on a field trip to Tov Coffee, and one of the members proclaimed it was “The best coffee I’ve ever had.”

In a city where coffee is competitive, Tov Coffee offers something a bit different than your standard fare. Located at SE Hawthorne and 32nd Avenue, Tov Coffee is worth checking out for its unique setting, great coffee, and service.
