There are now over 9 million women-owned businesses in the US, generating $1.4 trillion annually. Women-owned small businesses are a major force in the economy. Still, a lack of access to capital and mentoring are two factors limiting their potential. Only 2% of women-owned businesses have revenues over $2 million.
