As of March 13, 2020, Mercy Corps Northwest will only offer remote services to minimize social contact in response to the Coronavirus. Remote services will continue until September 1, 2020, unless otherwise noted. Our office will not be accepting any in-person visits during this time, however, all programs will continue operations. Oregon Women’s Business Center
Our Women’s Business Center team is excited to offer all classes, trainings, and consulting sessions remotely.
1:1 Consulting – Now Online: All one-on-one consulting sessions will now be offered remotely via Google Hangouts. If you are scheduled to attend a consulting session, you will receive information for accessing the event by phone or email to attend and answer questions. Our consultant schedule remains the same.
Classes & Seminars – Now Online We are hosting all seminars and classes online. All current registrants will receive direct instructions for remote class access before your event. Our online schedule is now fully up-to-date.

Education, Events & Advising
Our website is up-to-date with the most recent schedule. Please refer to our online resources for the most current information. If you are unable to attend an online event we are happy to transfer or refund your registration.
Small Business Orientation – Now Online: We will now hold all orientations remotely via Google Hangouts. If you are scheduled to attend an orientation, you will receive information for accessing the event by phone or email to attend and answer questions. Our orientation schedule remains the same.
Our Loan team is excited to offer appointments remotely for all clients until April. If you are scheduled to meet with our team, you will receive information for accessing your appointment by phone or computer.
We understand this is a tough time for small businesses. It is causing a lot of uncertainty and stress for business owners and clients, as well as having a significant financial impact for many. We are able to support existing loan clients through payment deferrals or reduced payments of interest only, if needed.
We are asking you to review the options below and let us know which is desired:
- Full Payment Deferment – this would mean no payment in April. Interest would still accrue, but no payment would be due.
- Interest Only Payment – this would mean a reduced payment in April, only for the interest portion of your monthly payment.
- Normal Payment – if you would like to continue normal payments, you are welcome to do so as well. We understand this situation is affecting businesses in different ways

IDA Grant Appointments
Our IDA team is excited to offer appointments remotely for all clients until April. If you are scheduled to meet with our team, you will receive information for accessing your appointment by phone or computer.
- Missed Deposits – There will be no penalties for missing deposits to your IDA until September 15, 2020.
- Emergency Withdrawal – If you are a client with an open IDA Account, you may request an emergency withdrawal if funds are needed for personal and/or business needs between April 1, 2020 and September 15, 2020. You will not be penalized for the withdrawal, and will be awarded the additional time you need to save up toward your asset goal.
