Branding Consulting with Julie Eickhof, August 20, 2019

What’s your brand message, and how do you bring it to life?

Our branding consultants can illuminate the importance of branding when starting or growing your business. Branding is much more than just your logo. Branding incorporates everything from product design to your brand positioning, and even your brand voice. Branding is a process that involves identifying your target consumer and developing a relevant message to engage with her. Understanding how to position your product or service helps you find better ways to reach your target.

  • Identify your consumer target and what drives their interests in your category
  • Develop a positioning message that helps differentiate your product or service from competitors’
  • Identify components of your brand identity that will help distinguish you in the marketplace
  • Review your marketing activities to identify ways to better attract your target consumer and build your brand’s equity

  • You must be a Mercy Corps Northwest loan client or Foundations student having completed Week 4. If you do not meet these criteria, we may still be able to work with you—please call (503) 896-5086.
  • Cost: $25 each session, advanced registration required.

Note: Each session lasts 50 minutes. Please be prepared to share where you are in the brand development process, and bring specific questions you have about your brand. Please arrive ten minutes early for your session to complete the required intake paperwork.

About the Consultant

Julie founded Eickhof Creative Shop, a 100-percent woman-owned small business specializing in branding, strategy, copy writing, and design, over a decade ago. With a solid background in copy writing and editing and a sharp eye for design, she loves it when all the little parts of a brand come together in a big way. And she always enjoys a good challenge, from leveling the playing field for scrappy small-business owners to creating positive change within larger, established organizations. Her extensive education includes etymology homework at age five, a BA in Linguistics from the University of California at Davis, and professional copy writing and design studies at Miami Ad School.

In her free time, Julie enjoys riding her motorcycles, MacGyvering things, and camping with her dog, Jake.
