Poor or damaged credit affects individuals and families from all walks of life – but it doesn’t have to hold you back. Unfortunately, one of the biggest challenges you may face is finding a trustworthy resource to help you get back on track.
Mercy Corps Northwest is proud to offer one-on-one credit consulting sessions, a safe and incredibly affordable way to begin restoring your credit and repaying your debt.
During this one hour session, you will be given an action plan to determine what steps can be taken by you and the agency to help accomplish your financial goals. You’ll have the benefit of ongoing support and accountability with a professional financial counselor. Additionally, the Counselor, with your permission, can interact directly with a creditor to negotiate a reduction in payment or pay-off. And you’ll have the opportunity to sign up for Finance Smart to help you learn and implement money-management skills that will round out your new financial confidence.
