Ben Misley is the Loan Programming Manager at Mercy Corps Northwest, where he helps small businesses who cannot get traditional credit from banks access the financing they need to grow. Prior to this role, he managed MCNW’s matching business grants program, where entrepreneurs get the training and funding they needed for equipment and hard asset purchases. He holds bachelor degrees in Business Management, Finance, and International Business from Oregon State, and his previous work experience includes working with a regional bank to open a new branch in SE Portland. Ben is an active board member for the Clackamas Bookshelf and the Parks and Recreation Committee for the city of Gladstone. He grew up in Gladstone and lives there with his wife and son. Outside of work and volunteering, Ben is an avid Trail Blazers fan and loves to barbecue, read, and get outdoors.
