SEMINAR: Legal Basics for Small Businesses

About the Seminar

No matter the industry, nearly all small businesses will at some point encounter important legal questions. This seminar will cover four of the top questions that new businesses face:

  • Should I form a legal entity, and which kind?
  • What types of contracts do I need for my business, and what should go in them?
  • Are the people working for my business employees or independent contractors?
  • How do I protect my business’s brand and other intellectual property?

Attend this seminar to explore the fundamental legal issues small business owners face, and learn the answers to key legal questions. One of Mercy Corps Northwest’s legal counselors will lead this important, not to miss seminar, applicable to any type of small business.
