About Your Seminar

The ability to successfully sell your business to external parties plays a huge role when it comes to finding potential investors, customers, and partnerships. Join us to learn the fundamentals and importance of having an elevator pitch that helps you stand out from the rest. In this seminar you will learn how to effectively communicate your business, its mission statement, and answer questions investors and clients may have about you and your business.

In this Seminar you will walk away with the following:

• How to answer the three most common questions about your startup/business.
• How to ask for business from potential customers.
• How to ask for referrals from internal and external partners.

 


Meet Your Presenter

Hannah  Michelotti fell in love with public speaking when she was only 12-years-old.  Hannah  graduated from college with a degree in Communication Arts and started coaching others in public speaking over ten years ago.  Throughout her career, she found herself spending her lunch breaks teaching co-workers how to better interview. She spent late nights editing anything from resumes to PowerPoint presentations for managers.  She delivered speeches weekly to 50+ person audiences including executive leadership where she had to persuade them in the viability of her product.

Hannah teaches people how to be persuasive, articulate speakers based on their individual skills. Clients who work with Hannah learn how to be persuasive using words, body language, and tone of voice. Clients learn how to captivate an audience, how to be memorable and stand out, how to be authentic, and how to make an impact.

In her spare time, she coaches a Mock Trial team, and she can be found on stage at The Moth and Toastmasters.

*Scholarship Option 1 – Income Based: Partial scholarships are available from Mercy Corps Northwest to low-income individuals with proper documentation. Applications must be received one week before the start of class to be considered. Link to Online Application.

*Scholarship Option 2 – Designated for People of Color: In partnership with Prosper Portland, we are thrilled to be able to offer people of color scholarships to any  training activity. Eligible clients need to have a home or business address within the city of Portland. Our goal is to make business education accessible to everyone in our community. Link to Online Application.
