SEMINAR: Time Management for Creatives

If your tasks, chores, and projects have you feeling stressed, overwhelmed, and unproductive, you might need help with time management. This workshop is for creatives and entrepreneurs who want to take charge of their future. Artist and entrepreneur Joni Renee Whitworth will discuss how to eliminate time-wasters and watch your productivity soar. We’ll cover practical techniques that can be used immediately to gain control of your time and life.

Participants will learn how to:

  • Identify typical time-wasters and create solutions to overcome them
  • Set goals and objectives to get things done
  • Schedule the week to accomplish the most crucial matters
  • Utilize technology to spend time wisely
  • Reorder activities to increase your productivity
  • Get out of crisis mode and focus on what’s important
  • Deal with interruptions

About Your Instructor



Joni Renee Whitworth is an artist and entrepreneur from rural Oregon. Her work has been shared on such diverse stages as The Moth in Portland, the Segerstrom Center for the Performing Arts in Costa Mesa, California, and the MacLaren Youth Correctional Facility in Woodburn in partnership with the Morpheus Youth Project. Her writing has appeared or is forthcoming in Lambda Literary, Eclectica, Pivot, Smeuse, Superstition Review, xoJane, The Write Launch, and regional journals. Her poetry chapbook, Your Full Real Name, was published in 2017. She founded and sold Mint & Mirth and is currently the Creative Director of Future Prairie.
