For the 4th year in a row, Mercy Corps Northwest and the Portland Saturday Market will be partnering to offer small business owners an opportunity to test their product at Portland’s largest weekend market. The market itself is home to 350 vendors that represent the heart and soul of Portland’s entrepreneurial community. Today, in its 48th season in business, Portland Saturday Market attracts up to 20,000 each weekend and offers vendors of locally produced goods a chance to show off their goods.
Selected businesses will be required to attend the market for four weekends in a row from May – September 2021. The market is open on Saturdays. Vendors must commit to attending weekends for the entire month they sign up for – marking a total of four weekend days at the market. You may staff your booth yourself, or hire a person or find a friend or volunteer who you trust to represent your business. Applications will open for the ‘Northwest Made’ booth beginning June 11, 2021 and close once all spots are filled. We recommend applying as soon as possible.
